Where has the time gone? I'm back in Indy, it's cold (but colder on Lake of the Woods!) and I'm getting ready for the holidays. Went to the annual family Christmas ornament exchange at Phil and Gretchen's in Anderson. A good time was had by all!

I'm recovering from trying to keep up with 35 year olds. If Chris and Melissa ever try to introduce you to Don King, watch out! It was a good time though!

I was working in my log cabin when I heard an eagle making a lot of noise. He was very patient as I set up my tripod and camera.

It's a Tuesday, so that means everyone headed over to Green's for Wings!

It was the annual 4th of July party at Walker's Island in Camp Bay. Lots of people, lots of food, lots of fun. (A new window will open.)

Well, I've got all this roofing stuff, let's do something with it. Bill and AJ start the reroof job of my log cabin.
July 2
After a quiet Canada Day, I headed down to Dodds Lumber in Baudette, MN, to pick up material so Bill, AJ and whoever else I can hook into helping put the new roof on the cabin. Bill and AJ stopped by in the morning, I then hopped in the boat, then the Blazer and headed south. John and all his crew are nice guys and I of course, had to take pictures of the guys as they loaded materials in and on the Blazer for me.

A rainy day today, but that's OK. We need the rain. I've been taking photos over at Bill's, but today put on the rain coat and took some photos of flowers.
