looking southwest It was getting swampy and I had a mis-step, putting my foot on what I thought was solid ground. I sank up to my ankle and when I pulled my foot out, my shoe stayed deep in the mud. Yuck. After retrieving the shoe and emptying the muck out, I walked along the edge by the tree line. (squish, squish)
