Eagle Creek Sailing Club
On the west side of Indianapolis is the 12th largest city park in the US, Eagle Creek. J.K. Lilly (Eli Lilly & Company) owned the land and donated it to Purdue University in the late 1950's. The University later sold the land to the city of Indianapolis. An earthen dam was built to control flooding and the result is the Eagle Creek we know today. It is home to the Eagle Creek Sailing Club.
John and Marsha Schaub invited me to take photos as they ran the first Wednesday evening race of 2005. I returned for the first race of the fall series on July 20.
