Let's build a house!
Summer of 2006
Bill Porter is building a new house. Since I couldn't pound nails or carry things, I took pictures.
Got to have materials. Lots of building material just got delivered.
Hammer time! The guys start pounding nails.
The floor deck is down. We can walk on it!
Getting ready to frame. Bill gets ready as he waits for his help.
We've got walls. The crew shows up and more progress is made.
Wait! All four walls are up! Busy, busy!
Take a walk up the hill. A quick and very bad movie. You need Quicktime and a new window will open.
Working high. On scaffolding, that is....
Beam me up! Two heavy beams were put into place this morning.
Rafters! Rafters were put up that afternoon.
Finishing up. Work winds down for the summer of 2006.
